Reverence for life is more than solicitude or sensitivity for life. It is a sense of the whole, a capacity for inspired response, a respect for the intricate universe of individual life.
The capacity to care is what gives life its deepest significance.
Gratitude enables us to receive and to return the goodness we have been given. It helps us be fully human.
Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming it.
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding.
If the hurt comes, so will the healing.

The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.
I like to see art as humanity’s capacity to increase awe in the universe.
There is a vitality, a life force, an energy translated through you into action; because there is only one you, this expression is unique.
Stories make us more alive, more human, more courageous, more loving.
We either live with intention or exist by default.

Communication & Expression

If I were absolutely certain about all things, I would spend my life in anxious misery, fearful of losing my way. But since everything and anything are always possible, the miraculous is always nearby and shall never, ever cease.
Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.
All real living is meeting.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
